About Us
Smt. Anandibai Agrawal Balak Mandir, established in 1956 by Shri Biharilalji Agrawal (Dhamoriwala), is a revered educational institution in Amravati. Founded in memory of his mother, Smt. Anandibai Agrawal, this institution was
initially the only Hindi-medium Balak Mandir in Amravati. Administered by Shri Ganeshdas Rathi Chhatralaya Samitee, the institution has undergone significant transformations over the years.
*Relocation and Development*
Initially situated in Rallis Plot, the Balak Mandir was later relocated to Bachchraj Plots in 1966. The institution's new premises were inaugurated by the then Governor, Hon. P.V. Zerian,
marking a significant milestone in its development.
*Evolution into a Playhouse and Nursery*
In 2019, Smt. Anandibai Agrawal Balak Mandir underwent a significant transformation, evolving into a playhouse and nursery. This initiative has been spearheaded by Mrs. Smita

to this endeavour.
